Had a message there for the first time today and it was absolutely wonderful!!!! I called around several places in the kingwood area and everyone was booked(thank goodness!!) and this place had an opening and I was immediately seen. I've been to Studio North several times. Today I made a mistake and went to a TGF just because of time and I didn't have an appointment. I'm full of excuses. I was stupid. The TGF completely ruined my hair. All I wanted were highlights to cover some gray and a trim. Left with dark brown roots (did I mention my hair was blond?) and chunky, brassy, and what seemed like clown orange streaks. One side was, no joke, like an inch longer than the other with strange hacks taken out here and there. They claimed they couldn't fix it because it would damage my hair, not that I wanted them to because I can't imagine what that would look like!

I went to my car, sobbing and embarrassed, and sheepishly called Studio North. They got me right in because they are wonderful. Tracy took the time to figure out what TGF had done, what I wanted, consulted with other stylists, and made a plan to fix my nightmare. AND she started off by saying that she stands by her work and if I didn't like it to come back and she'd fix it, and if I didn't like that to come back and she'd fix it again, even if it meant another stylist doing it because she's all about making it right.

All the while, everyone there was nice, comforting, and the lovely lady at the desk, who somehow remembers everyone's name, kept offering me water and coffee (I should explain I was pretty red and blotchy and sort of emotional. That happens when one has freakish clown hair. She might have just felt sorry for me.)

Tracy was true to her word. I left happy. More than happy, because beyond just fixing my color and cut, she's just a nice person who obviously cares a lot about people. Plus, I mean, it was WAY cheaper than the wig I was going to have to buy just to be seen in public.
